Frames Done Quick – The Marble It Update!

Frames Done Quick
– November 3 –

Full of candy and fresh out of poetry, let’s take a quick look at the eventful week in Marble world. A quick round-up to break up the recent bimonthly cadence – this week centers on speedrunning.

Quick starts, niche strats, can’t lose?

Weekly Challenge: Bowling

Hey cousin, let’s go bowling! It’s a throwback joke for a throwback challenge… but please don’t throw your bowling balls back. Safe bowling stance relies on steady follow-through and momentum flow. Precision and discipline are how we get the best frames! (Get it? Like speedruns AND bowling!).

Best part? You can wear whatever shoes you want to for this week’s challenge. Socks and sandals crew – time to shine.

Hatchet, the Quick

A quick congratulations to Hatchet on the acceptance of his MIU: Classic run to Awesome Games Done Quick 2022! Games Done Quick holds two major events each year to showcase speedrunning and raise money for charity throughout a weeklong livestreamed marathon.

As a long-time fan of these events, I’m psyched to cheer Hatchet on as he represents the community and showcases the effort and skill required to push the game to its limits! (Reminder you can watch the current WR here.)

We’ll make sure to include the times/schedule of when to watch the run live!

Other News

In an upcoming newsletter, we’ll be jumping deeper into the custom level catalogue’s recent additions. There’s a lot of great work going on and a bigger round-up feels warranted!

Thanks for reading, and have a great Wednesday!
